Anyone have some extra cash and counter space?
Edited on Wed Oct-14-09 10:44 AM by The empressof all
I absolutely LOVE anything fried. I mean really, who doesn't. Due to my dietary restrictions though I need to watch the fat. In a surf session yesterday I came across a fryer that is coming out that "says" it fries with just a tablespoon of oil. It looks like it's not available yet in the states but I need someone to buy this and try it :loveya: so that I can add it to my list of hearts desired kitchen equipment or toss it off my list altogether.

It's made by Tefal which gives some degree of credibility to it.

1. That does look interesting. Did you see the customer service
number on the web site? Maybe they can enroll you in a trial of the product. Never know. I'd call. They can probably give you an estimated availability date and approximate price.

I never fry for the same reasons but this might change my mind.

3. To hell with the chips
I'm thinking tempura, onion rings, fish, shrimp....

All the wonderful things I don't eat because I really hate the cleanup when I use my wok, and that's the easiest cleanup I've ever found.

2. Maybe QVC will feature it when it's available
They've been selling Tefal for years. The live demonstrations should be really helpful.

It's not on Macy's website...

It's gotten some pretty good reviews on Amazon in the UK....

It's now officially on my list of kitchen toys I want.

That dollar I spend on the lotto every week buys quite a bit of joy in fantasy land.

It is a pricey gadget but as a Christmas gift to and from the SO it's within the margin of possibility. He'd go along with it if it means fries. I keep a little stash going each year for Christmas shopping. I was raised with Christmas clubs and just got into the habit. I got that kitchen equipment addiction thing that I occasionally need to give into. But I still haven't given in to getting my hearts desired coffee pot...... I'm waiting for lotto

8. That's funny. . .
You've misspelled "evil" in your name as a-l-l.

I'm still all angsty about getting the NuWave oven because of you--figure that will come to a head when my indoor grill finally poops out. :P
