Who knew Nordic made so many kinds of pans?

I want them ALL

I will be making dessert for a graduation party with this particular one.

2. I've eyed that pan
I was envisioning little red velvet cakes dusted with powdered sugar served on a bed of Brandied Cherries.

4. red velvet was one of my options!
the original party has been called off though. However I am the Snack Bearer for Sunday School next Sunday so can play with it then.

I figured out my well loved brownie recipe will do well in it, and pound cakes of course. It came with a recipe for a raspberry swirl rosebud cake.

I was going to make pound cake with poured fondant. Oh well one of my daughter's friends is getting married in Sept so I will offer to help with a bridal shower and make something then.

3. I own this one
Edited on Fri May-15-09 08:03 PM by MagickMuffin

I use it whenever I make cakes, strawberry shortcake and poundcake. For cakes with frosting I slice it in to and frost in between the layers and add more frosting in the center.

It's my favorite pan. However, it is hard to wash by hand, since I use shortening and flour.

edit to say :hi:
