Anyone here have a Nesco Roaster Oven ?
I don't sell them , but I sure could. I have had a small 6 qt for several years and jsut got a big 12 qt. I used the big one today and I love it. It has the confection for the cover too. I sent in a recipe many years ago and it is still on their site. Today I made goulash and enough so I can freeze some. I love to cook. Mrs. Moose

1. oh, those are great
We discussed those some time ago. Great for turkeys, great for big masses of ribs, great for glazed hams. I don't currently have one, and wish I did now that you mention it! I wonder what they are running these days.

I can't imagine what I'd use it for myself, but I'm tempted.

(I keep seeing other brands of similar roasters on sale at K-Mart and do manage to resist the temptation to get another dust catcher I'll use once or twice a year.)

3. I ike the 12 qt because
I can put it in the laundry room sink to clean. It just fits there. It was nothing to wash the insert as nothing sticks. There is just two of us, but I make big batches so I can freeze some for when I can't cook. Can you ever find a pan big enough for stuffed petters ? I wish the price of peppers would drop. LOL I wish I had been here when everyone wss discussing them. I have other brands of crock pots, but the Nesco does the best for me as it browns the meat good. It just seems to be much better. I had the Nesco convection oven, the round one ? I didn't like it. Too hard to clean and put together. They should refine that little oven better.

4. I have a old big one without the convection
I love it. Is convection in the lid? I wonder if they just sell the cover so I can just add that feature. It's great for cooking for a crowd. I don't like the way it cooks Turkey or chicken because you don't get that really crispy skin but it's great for pulled pork or brisket. It's great for summer cooking as it doesn't get your house hot. I have the 6 quart too which is great as a crock pot for those roasts that don't fit in the regular round crocks.

5. I have a couple of 6 qt ones and onea big one
I like how fast the 6 qt bakes things. Chicken doesn't get crispy but we don't eat the skin so much these days, so it doesn't matter. And the chicken is very juicy and tender. I love my Nesco.
