I got a new toy
They had this gas grill which is usually 299 on sale for 99. I had to get it. The little shitty ones at Walmart are 79.

Lots of racks for doing things at different stages. It even came with a 20 lb tank for propane.

All I have to do is put it together

Should be a snap, right ? Ya right !

I'm not mechanical. Mrs bearfan had to help me put the lawnmower together a couple of years ago.

2. I'm guessing this grill is not the one you used for last night's
burgers and barkers?

Looks like fun. There's only ... what ... a bazillion parts to bolt together?

Good Luck!

:hi:

3. I used the pit last night.
Charcoal and mesquite give a good flavor for burgers.

4. Good luck!
My husband and I had to put together the last grill we bought. We're both fairly mechanically inclined except that I actually read the directions. It took us a whole afternoon of head scratching and swearing. We both agreed that it's worth the extra bucks to have one assembled.

5. We have a Char Broil similar to that
but it doesn't have the lower shelf and the extra burner. We have an all-in-one stove, sink, and refrigerator just inside the door from the grill so decided we didn't need the extra burner. I got the Char Broil for my husband for his birthday/Father's Day last June and we've used it a lot. He likes to charcoal grill, too, but it's nice to have both sometimes and it's certainly much quicker to fire up the gas grill.

Ours came with a nice new propane tank, too, but when I went outside the Home Depot to have it filled, they exchanged it for one that was already filled -- and it was ugly, too!

Though ours was already assembled, we've put together enough equipment and furniture over the years to sympathize with you and Mrs. Bearfan -- and my husband is quite mechanical!

Another handy gadget is a remote meat thermometer that I got for my husband for Christmas from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. You can monitor the temp from inside and can even set the desired internal temp and an alarm will go off when the food reaches that temp. It's about $40.
