Crab-Shrimp Quesadillas
I'm cross posting this because I'm so freaking proud of myself. I made these tonight -- kind of made up the recipe -- and they were great.

1 can crabmeat, drained
~3oz cream cheese
4 shrimp, chopped
1 small stalk celery, chopped

Mix all ingredients. Plop onto a flour tortilla, heat it up. I tried it with guacamole and salsa. I liked the salsa better.

I should have added cilantro.

I used the celery for texture.

My cats are very pissed right now.

2. Sounds great!
Congrats on putting something together that tasted yummy! Isn't it fun just to take what you know and put together something you never have made before?

Rather than salsa, maybe a little diced pimento or fresh red pepper and a dash of some fresh lemon juice would have been good additions, too.

Did you at least offer the cats the water from the crabmeat can? LOL

:hi:

3. Simple and sounds very good.
Cilantro would have made it perfect.

4. Concocting new combinations is always fun.
Sometimes its a hit and sometimes its a miss ...... but press on. That's how family favorites and personal specialties come to be.
