5. That is just beautiful. The backsplash tile is gorgeous, and that
terra cotta grout looks great. Also, those pottery crocks/canisters on your counter are very pretty. Are they new, or did you just have to buy them to go with your lovely new kitchen? Congratulations on your new digs.

6. thanks! the cannisters were a Xmas present last year but I never
used them in the old kitchen (no room)

they are perfect in here though :bounce:

AND..... I'll still have room for my copper bread box and cookie jar when the new drawer unit gets here

7. My mother-in-law had a cannister like the one next to your bread box.
Is that your "cookie jar?" MIL always used hers as an ice bucket. I think it had other pieces, like a 1950s martini shaker and strainer.

Where is the obligatory picture of your new housewarmer kitten? He is such a sweetie.

as for the cookie jar, it says "Cookies" on it so that how I use it

we named it "Squeak" and it answers to it, so it must be the right name

9. He sure does look comfy. Mr. or Ms. Squeak must know he/she
found a soft touch. Thanks for providing another kitten fix for me today.

11. OK, I'm dying to know
Him or her?

I'm also wondering how long it will take poor Squeak to grow into those ears.

12. LOL it's a girl!!
and I think she'll always be a big eared, long tailed, slab sided cat (like her mom next door)

she's sleeping on my purse at my feet as we speak and doing great after baby shots, ear mite medicine and wormer

:loveya:
