1. A dab on a hot English muffin
from Wolferman's - the best by far - http://tinyurl.com/arjwd.

All my business Christmas gifts come from Wolferman's. Some even come with lemon curd. Nice stuff.

5. I'm with you!
We last had it on a flight from London to Washington on British Airways. Sparkly loved it. I couldn't bring myself to even taste it.

The word 'curd' was the issue.

8. Oh Man
You need to get over that. The trick in making it is to not let it curdle (go figure).

You should listen to Sparkly more often.

12. Let me entreat you....
...as someone whose throat closes up at the mere mention of cottage cheese (yuck!), I understand your issue with the word "curd."

But please....TRY THE LEMON CURD! It's the creamiest, lemoniest, yummiest NON-curdiest stuff you can imagine. It's wonderful on scones or english muffins (or straight ouf of the jar). You are in for SUCH a treat!

14. I had the same issue with the name
Until I tried it. Think of it as lemon meringue pie without the crust or the meringue.

4. Make individual "cheater" trifles
I arrange raspberries and cubes of pound cake with dabs of curd in old fashioned crystal compotes.

6. scones
I buy it when my currants are in season. Currant scones with lemon curd and whipped cream is one of my favorite breakfasts.

7. Put it on gingerbread or a slice of poundcake
Sometimes I spread a little on ginger snaps - I absolutely love lemon curd and I've been known to eat it w/ a spoon by itself!!

10. Smear it over hot pound cake, and Sarah Lee's will do. Yum!
But I love lemon flavoring.

11. Oh yum
Smear a dab of it on an english muffin, even better with a dab of cream cheese as well.

Use it as filling between the layers of a layer cake.

Try hard not to eat the whole jar by the spoonful.
