Just got back with my 3G iPad
I went to the notorious Cherry Creek Store in Denver. Yeah, the lost finger one! Cops everywhere!

Anyhow, they had stacks of 'em against the back wall, like 7 high all across the genius bar. Plenty of 'em. I was in line, one that stretched by 3 other stores all the way to Macy's... which is about 60 yards give or take. Crowded, but only 3 total orgasm boys walking out yelling and whooping as if they got a hot chick for the night showing off their iPads.

Store was very efficient, and the sales boy came out and greeted me in the line and took me in.. showed me the accesories first (they were out of Camera kits, but I got a nice case), then got my iPad and done. It only took about 20 minutes waiting in line. I was impressed.

Now, I have to sync it, so I'll be back in a few hours. Virtual orgasm boy->:woohoo:

1. sounds like a painless trip
in general, though, I just don't do releases. I'll wait until there aren't people with sleeping bags outside, thank you :)

Still, like I said, sounds very streamlined. They DO have plenty of experience with this kind of thing

2. enjoy
I think you'll love it. I've had mine for a month and I love it more now than I did a month ago.

5. Been playing with mine for two days now.
It kicks butt, and how.

My biggest problem has been which apps to add. I got the partner a non 3 G iPad, so most of the apps were previewed and pre played with.

I just love is thing.

6. Apps... Definitely Kindle and iBooks both
iBooks is a little more customizable than Kindle, but Kindle offers many more books.

The rest depends on what your into. I have Photogene for photo editing. It's pretty extensive, but I wish I can drop multiple shots into it and edit faster.

Also what I got and think would be good for you.
ABC Player for TV Show streaming. GoodReader for PDF reading/annotating. Netflix for movie rentals.

You also need a game. Need For Speed($15) or Real Racing HD ($9) if you like action, or Shanghai if you like to relax.

7. Shanghai? Hmm
I have both readers and many books. Backgammon, chess, bridge and that car racing app.
