Homemade Vegenaise recipes

Hello!

I had posted this link in another forum about a homemade recipe for Vegenaise and kentauros suggested I post it here. I didn't even realize there was a Veggie/Vegan group, and I am happy to have found you! I have been a vegeterain twice in my life, for about 4 years each time, and I am heading back that way again. This time I think it will be for good. Not only do I feel it's the right thing to do, I just feel better.

I haven't tried either of these yet, but plan to soon. As always, with posted recipes, I advise reading the comments sections for tweaks. I plan on trying this first one soon with almond milk.

I love, love, love Veganaise! ~slurp. But, the large purple Veganaise is over $7 in my area. Coconut milk is really thick - I might try that.

My favorite organic rye bread is $4.59 a loaf. ~gasp! This winter I'm going to learn to bake bread. I cannot believe the price of groceries. A little off topic, but I just got back from the store. Sticker shock.

6. Eating decent vegan food isn't easy...

Or cheap, in many cases. You've got the right idea, though. Learning to do on our own will probably be a very good idea.
