1. I use mine regularly
Takes a bit of getting used to but the practice has noticeably cut the frequency of my head colds. Your mileage may vary, but I'd definitely recommend trying it.

2. Yes! Love it!
It has helped so much with my allergies. I remember an old voice instructor of mine using it, and she swore by it. She used it before every class, and every performance.

It was kind of scary and freaky at first... I felt like I was going to waterboard myself! But it is a lot easier than it appears, and painless. I thought it would sting. Nope. The saline solution is perfectly measured; you hardly feel a thing.

I use the squeeze bottle version. Love it.

4. Yes. It works, but it takes some getting used to.
adjust slowly and get used to it. I don't do it regularly, but my allergies were much better when I did it. I think I will get it out again. Good luck and feel better!

7. I use a regular saline mist spray
It's easy, non-intrusive, and works. Just plain old salt water. My mother's doctor recommended it to her years ago to prevent sinus infections, to which she was prone. She started to swear by it. Now, when I get a cold (which is rare, but I have a miserable one now!), I use it, and it seems to really hasten recovery and make you feel better.

8. if you find the neti pot difficult to use
Try the NeilMed squirt bottle, I think it's easier and does the same thing. Keeps me from getting sick!

10. I got one last year and used it a few times. Not sure how much it helped.
The salt water doesn't go into your sinuses. You're just rinsing out your nasal passages.

11. I get some sort of upper respiratory thing 2 or 3 times a year.
It starts with a post nasal drip that is like acid burning my throat. Since I got my pot I use it at the first sign of drainage and the symptoms are milder and the whole thing much shorter. Before neti I would sometimes lose time at work.

13. Yes And
I recently started using virgin coconut oil in my nose. A pea size amount - 4-6 times per day and before bed.

I had been using RX grade sesame oil w/ a hint of peppermint (you can buy nose oil online)
with good results. But then I started reading about coconut oil being high in Caprylic Acid and Lauric Acid, which kills yeast.
Most sinus problems are fungal - coconut oil, kills fungus.

I feel like for the first time in 8 years of dealing with sinus problems, with the help of Coconut Oil, Sesame Oil and my Neti, this thing
just might go away.

I'm going to mix a teeny, tiny drop of peppermint oil in a small batch of Coconut Oil for my morning dose.

Be sure to use good salt in your pot - I like Himalayan salt.

Not regularly. More like when I think about it.

It does seem to help.
