1. No, but I have the problem and would love some feedback
from those who have. I have an appointment with the pain management clinic tomorrow, since I'm considered a poor surgical risk. I'm trying to avoid surgery and anything stronger than Voltaren.

2. dgibby - Please keep me posted on the results of your visit to pain
management. I'm in quite a bit of chronic discomfort and at my age am also a poor surgical risk.

3. Will do!
Chronic pain can really wear you down, can't it? I'm hoping for a non-invasive, non-narcotic solution. Take care of yourself.

4. I feel your pain
I had chronic pain for five years and was to a point where I could barely walk. I did the open back surgery thing last july. Had fusion L4-L5. I have to admit I regret not having it sooner. I'm lots better and living life again. Wish you the best of luck.

5. Ouch!
I'm such a wimp. I'll do anything to avoid surgery.

Glad you had a good outcome.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the encouragement.

6. Think that is the type of surgery my friend had a few years ago. It was succesful! I'm 87, now.
