Chances of Public Option Passing?
What are the chances of a public option passing as part of the Healthcare Reform package? Why would Harry Reid not go the route of making it need 50 senators but instead saying he wants 60. How can we get all conservative dems and independent lieberman aboard? I feel like that is too risky and almost impossible.

1. They are likely to pass "something called a PO" but it will be worthless.
This Senate bill is shit, even worse than the Dog of a bill passed by the house. No real reform can come from either. Both must die.

2. how can they pass it?
I just don't see how they can line up the votes? I think any final bill must get rid of the anti-choice provision. Aside from that what is it that you don't like? There is so much in the bill I really don't know what it contains.
