Join us on Thursday, June 25, 2009 for The Great American Sickout, a National Rally for Health Care For All Now. Congress is acting. They haven't been listening to us.
Real Health Care Reform Is Health Care For All
They need to hear a LOUD voice NOW. 1 Million People Shouting, "Health Care For ALL. Not Some. Not Most. ALL."

Take the day off of work, BE THERE. Tell Congress in person, join Together.

Where: Washington DC, gather at the Washington Monument on the National Mall. We'll walk to the Upper Senate Park for the Rally which is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. (view map)

and everybody could list their local rallies too.

Can't go to DC as I have little money and no time, but if there are local rallies in front of our Representatives and Senators offices (or branch offices), more people would show up and maybe even get local news coverage.

He has a selection of insurance programs that are funded by the taxpayers.

I was going to start poking around to see what other rallies are planned for Thursday. If this was stickied and people started posting their own, it would go a lot faster.

But as you say, Grassley does have health insurance that we pay for. And he is supposed to be representing the people of Iowa and the USA as a whole, not the insurance and pharmacy companies.

7. Why in the world did they schedule this for a Thursday? A Mon or Fri would have been

better for many people, and a Sat even better. I understand the symbolism of being absent from work, but this is simply not an option for many.

CNN is showing Iran 24/7 only and no news about health care! What matters to us???

I am so frustrated by what looks like a blockout at this critical point.
People need to be activated or we'll lose.
