I've watched about a dozen pro-single-payer videos, and this from the California Nurses Assn. is the best I've seen by far. It could really change the landscape if we sent it viral. It would be wonderful beyond belief if someone came up with the funds to get it on TV.

2. That's perfect!

Every medical professional I know supports single-payer - physicians, nurses, PAs - and if you ever talked to the support staff running a medical office, you'd get your head blown off with the ferocity of their wishes for single-pay. They spend their days sorting out forms for different insurance companies.

That's all some of them do - just keep the different rules straight so that the doctor can get paid. It's insane.

I won't live to see single-payer in our country, I suspect, and that is a heartbreak. Other far more progressive and civilized countries have had nothing but success with such a system for years and years.

The pharmaceutical and insurance lobbies will have their way forever here in the US. That's my fear ..........................
