A couple of interesting shows with interesting gay characters
SYFY has added a gay character to Warehouse 13 while MTV has a gay character in its remake of Teen Wolf. Both characters have been matter of factly integrated in the stories with no coming out drama. I would recommend both shows as interesting summer diversions.

1. I'm watching MadMen now that it is streaming on Netflix.
One of the characters came out in the episode I watched last night. It was a fascinating reflection of the attitudes and grossly overt bigotry seen in the 60's. I am interested to see how it develops.

Thanks for the other recommendations.

3. It's fascinating and pretty intense.
The gay character becomes more central in the second season. It also deals with issues around discrimination against women, african americans and basically anyone who is not a straight, white male. Painful at times, but pretty good reflection of the times.

4. We're watching Warehouse 13...
I like Steve Jinks. They're giving his character some background now regarding his sister (won't say anything for those who haven't seen it).

He had a funny coming out with Claudia, too.

5. And Pete
Pete's reaction to the news that Jinks is gay was utterly hilarious. I love the way they played that.

7. I didn't watch the first two seasons but this season is very imaginative
the video game episode and the episode where they find out Jenks is gay were both quite well done.
