6. This is based on a claim by a Republican Senator, apparently.
"Republican working the #gaymarriage vote insists a firm 32 in Sen GOP conference, refuses to reveal tipping point. Still no word on vote."

I hate to keep repeating the same story, but last time this came up, the Senate Dems had firm personal commitments by at least 8 Republicans, in private, to vote for it. They all lied.
