The Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) announced this week that the organization’s Lobby Day for Transgender Equal Rights has been moved to Tuesday, May 3 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the Grand Staircase in the Massachusetts State House.

Lobby Day for Transgender Equal Rights will feature legislative supporters, policy makers, and community members. Throughout the day, supporters will meet with their legislators to talk about An Act Relative to Transgender Equal Rights (also known as the Transgender Civil Rights Bill) and why it is so important that it pass this year.

The MTPC is advising those interested in participating to RSVP by emailing [email protected] with your address or your legislator’s name for faster check-in, or by calling (617) 778-0519. Appointments can be made to meet with your legislator at any time during the day. To find out who your legislator is, visit www.malegislator.gov.
