Pastor Donald Spitz of the Christian terrorist organization Army Of God is back with another message of Christian charity, this time saying that any gay person that has children should be imprisoned for life. Spitz was kicked out of Operation Rescue for publicly defending the murderers of abortion doctors, so we must be his new gig.

I also happen to be a woman, and they have some insanely hostile attitudes toward women, too. Your point about funding is spot-on. The KKK had the wind taken out of their sails when they got sued into the ground, and were basically defunded. I would love to lift the lid on who exactly is funding these people. It wouldn't surprise me if a chunk of change from every megachurch in the country makes its way into the coffers of some of the most potentially violent groups currently building up a head of steam to "do something." I fear for all us, of course, but I'm acutely aware of the vulnerability of the GLBT community, immigrants, women, or whoever is the target-du-jour. We have to stick together in the face of what really amounts to bullying writ large.
