Who's going to the first annual Harvey Milk Day in San Francisco (or elsewhere?)
My sister and I will be hitting Castro Street this Saturday for the first Harvey Milk Day, and will leave a flower and thank-you note at his old shop in his memory. Anyone else here from CA planning on marking the day?

1. I wish I could go. Milk was a pretty incredible guy.
Think a few kind thoughts to his memory while you're there for those of us who can't make it, would you?

3. Never really knew much about him until the movie.
I suspect many folks here would be condemning him up and down for his "unpractical" tactics.
