Group attacked while protesting Tel Aviv shooting

(Jerusalem) Protestors of the shooting at a Tel Aviv LGBT youth center were attacked while posting signs that condemned the shooting in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood in Jerusalem.

Young supporters of the victims who were shot and killed last week at a center for LGBT youth in Tel Aviv were chased through alleys by members of the ultra-Orthodox harem.

According to the Advocate, the “youngsters and an Army Radio reporter went to the Mea She’arim area to raise awareness about the shooting at a gay youth center that killed a counselor and a young woman and injured at least 10 on Saturday.”

Those living in the neighborhood chased the youth because they felt as if they were being blamed for the events that happened in Tel Aviv.

I guess I shouldn't be, but I'm amazed at just how fast the Tel Aviv attack and murders dropped off the media radar. I also have to wonder if perpetrator of this crime will ever be caught.
