I can read the O-Man's mind!
He was talking about Armenians...no, wait - ANSWER. Or Code Pink. And it just meant that he has so many awful probs on his big manly shoulders and he wants to be reminded of all of his campaign promises, because he made so many to Armenians, you know....and to ANSWER...and Code Pink. Yes, soooooooooo many campaign promises to these groups he can't even remember them all.

The bullshit is starting to wear me down. We have no right to be offended, okay? Because he wasn't talking about campaign promises to us - or so we're told.

3. California is all about Armenians these days. The media is going crazy with Armenian stories 24/7.
The president is just playing chess with the Armenians. Leave him alone, he's got this.

9. Well, we do have that little Iowa joke at the correspondents dinner a few weeks ago.
And now we have this little self-deprecating remark.

Nothing of substance regarding LGBT people -- not even a comment that expresses empathy regarding the Prop. 8 ruling or a thumbs-up regarding Iowa.

Jokes and silence aren't much of an advocacy for LGBT people if you ask me. Feel free to disagree, it is DU and we don't take LGBT civil equality very seriously here.

10. yep
And now, sadly, everyone will attack Armenians because O-Man broke promises to them, too.

Watching the justifications *now* for his perhaps-Armenian 'joke' is a riot - oooooh, he doesn't have time to do everything! Can't expect him to fix the world!

Lovin' it.

12. Indeed..... His Promise....
As your President, I will use the bully pulpit to urge states to treat same-sex couples with full
equality in their family and adoption laws. I personally believe that civil unions represent the best
way to secure that equal treatment. But I also believe that the federal government should not
stand in the way of states that want to decide on their own how best to pursue equality for gay and
lesbian couples — whether that means a domestic partnership, a civil union, or a civil marriage.
Unlike Senator Clinton, I support the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA)
– a position I have held since before arriving in the U.S. Senate. While some say we should repeal
only part of the law, I believe we should get rid of that statute altogether.
Federal law should not
discriminate in any way against gay and lesbian couples, which is precisely what DOMA does. I
have also called for us to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, and I have worked to improve the Uniting
American Families Act so we can afford same-sex couples the same rights and obligations as
married couples in our immigration system.

It's OK to lie when attacking an opponent.....

So all that stuff he said.... you know... "affording same-sex couples the same rights, and all that other bullshit"...

Well, forget he said that....

As it's all water under the bridge now......
