No wonder he doesn't support Bill HR5628. Good grief now I've seen it all. Shame on you George!

18. Ginger Baker was the drummer
Jack Bruce played bass. My older sister got to go see Cream - Mom said I was too young for rock concerts. I was so jealous! She also got to see the Rolling Stones.

But, a when I was a little older, my sister and I went to see the "Vanilla Fudge" who have faded into rock obscurity. Their warm up band was Led Zepplin. We looked at each other and said, "These guys are really good. They're gonna be big." Guess that makes us experts on rock and roll, eh? At least as expert as Bill is on education.

10. I don't understand this flip attitude.
Do you support hitting children?

If you don't, then why do you guys always make fun of "stopschoolpaddling"?

This is a serious subject and regardless of our other differences of opinion, I'm really scratching my head over the attitude here.

14. Paddling is illegal in California, and...
...that video is still ridiculous.

15. Maybe not but the schools are terrible. I just came from there.
No shortage of insane principals and teachers atleast not in Lake Tahoe. Try not to care so much about other people.

16. The schools are "terrible" in CA?
Oh do tell. Your grand tour of Lake Tahoe on a fact-finding mission sounds like it was very fruitful. Lay it out for us. Maybe we should take up paddling to enhance our "terrible" schools here. Do you find it improves performance in your school districts? :sarcasm:

17. Well you know Starry, everyone who went to school is an expert.
Except the teachers who actually teach.

19. Why would anyone listen to teachers?
It's amazing we can get through the day without drooling on ourselves too. I'm sure the casual scrutiny of any random passers-by must be very important. I'm sure all of these experts would welcome an on the spot assessment from any of *us* while they are on their jobs and responsibilities. Snap judgments are so much more constructive than deep experience.

20. So, I'm curious. How much time did you spend learning...
...about the schools in California? And...I really don't know what you are saying here: "Try not to care so much about other people." ???
