1. Not looking forward to playing the Bills twice a year now.
They'll absolutely cornhole our secondary with Evans and Owens.

4. At least Edwards
can throw the ball down field, doesn't play soft either...he grew up in the Bay Area.

11. Don't forget the Dolphins' shamefully easy schedule and
deceptive record last year.

And the fact the 49ers won that game.

12. Basically that was a 49er victory
and set the tone for the Dolphin's playoff humiliation by the Ravens.

Lets go over those stats again:

TOP 49ers-38:13 Dolphins-21:47

Total plays 49ers-79 Dolphins-42

Total yards 49ers-318 Dolphins-248

First downs 49ers-24 Dolphins-11

3rd downs eff. 49ers-8/17 Dolphins-1/7

13. Wow, I remember them being dominated but I forgot
by how wide of a margin.

No wonder they were humiliated in the playoffs.

2. Boy, do I feel sorry for the Bills.
Except for the front office. They deserve the problem.

5. Actually, this gives the Bills two legitimate receivers.
Owens on one side, Lee Evans on the other. Not too shabby. If they get the 2007 Trent Edwards and a decent performance from Marshawn Lynch and the running game... Just sayin'...

6. As a Raiders fan.
Might I say Thank You to the Buffalo Bills. Now Al Davis doesn't have the opportunity to take him.

7. I'm predicting a major snowstorm in Buffalo sometime later this year.
This is if T.O. will be able to keep his trap shut and actually play. Then again, the deal is only for one year.

8. Owens is usually good his first year with a team.
He'll be a good boy this year, put up some numbers and then move on next year. He'll be a hired gun the rest of his career. He cannot be anywhere for longer than a season.

14. The junction of desperation
TO was desperate for a team and Buffalo is desperate to put butts in their seats. Say what you will about TO, but he is definately an entertainer. I don't think TO will be a great contributor. I think the number of dropped passes will increase with having to play outdoors in harsh elements and I think age has taken its toll. Still there will be a curiosity factor that should help the Bill's attendance, if not their record.

15. Wow... Trent Edwards asked Bills GM about Owens
Edited on Tue Mar-10-09 10:22 AM by Auggie
When Trent Edwards heard the Dallas Cowboys released wide receiver Terrell Owens, he sent a one-sentence text message to Buffalo Bills' General Manager Russ Brandon.

It read simply, "What about T.O.?"

Five days and a media whirlwind later, the Bills quarterback was still digesting that his team had taken a chance on the talented but controversial wide receiver.
