Poll question: If you were guaranteed a $250,000,000 contract like A-Rod,
would you take performance enhancing drugs?

That's if he is, in fact guilty. Of course, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I say that because everyone convicted Barry Bonds before his day in court.

==============================================================================================

This is an ESPN poll where at 10pm Pacific Standard Time, the country says, oh hell yes.

YES: 64%

NO: 36%

Votes: 131,453

1. If I had to, I would.
He's admitted to using, but it doesn't change my opinion of him.

2. That was in his contract?
He agreed to take steroids? I'd sure like to see that thing. :silly: But I sure wouldn't put it past that jerk Tom Hicks.

Say, does anyone know how many billions Tom Hicks has lost in the crash? Will he have to sell the Rangers (or Mavericks)?

5. My answer is no, of course, but only because I'd worry about
health side-effects.

My good health is priceless.

But for someone like you with a big fat belly, you might not have anything to lose.

How did you vote?

8. My answer is no, also. I have taken a steroid (prescribed) in the past
for a short period of time. The way it made me feel, in addition to the damage it could do to my body, is why I could never use those drugs.

4. You don't have to go to court
to be known as a lying, steroid abusing face of ugly on a professional sport. Going to court is irrelevant c-boy. You are an obnoxious pain in the ass, and I don't have to take you to court to have people believe it. george bush never went to court. How can you possibly criticize him for anything? He hasn't been convicted of anything.

bonds potential legacy: If the evidence isn't allowed to sit, you must acquit.

6. You could never be on an American jury with your prejudicial
opinions about people.

Going to court is not required, but it is certainly far from being "irrelevant."

You can't possibly compare a baseball player, who happens to be more talented than Mike Schmidt, to a war criminal like George Bush.

BTW, I happen to be very beloved, even though I'm far from perfect, make a lot of dumb mistakes sometimes, don't know everything and have a lot to learn, and often let people win arguments, even though I know I'm right.

I still contend you bumped your head on a pipe in the military because you're were not wearing your helmet.

10. Too Late
I served on four courts-martials with an open mind. Weighed the evidence. Didn't know the defendants. Justice was served.

If bonds was/is more talented then anybody why did he need chemical assistance? In some learned circles thats a sign of weakness.

So one can convict a politician but not a baseball player without a trial? How do you know bush is a war criminal? The preponderance of evidence??

I'll light a candle for you at St Louis Cathedral.

Never bumped my head but almost got blown up by terrorists. Does that count?

11. cboy/upton has yet to leave his mother's house. His only understanding
of terrorists are those who make fun of Barry Bonds.
