The Yankees are asking for another $259 million in tax-exempt bonds and $111 million in taxable bonds, on top of $940 million in tax-exempt bonds and $25 million in taxable bonds already granted for its $1.3 billion stadium. But they can break the bank to sign these insane contracts I want one representative to stand up to them and ask them why they should get anymore money from the taxpayers when they have all this money to blow on big name signings

7. I don't understand why we're supposed to pick on the Yankees
when the Red Sox are not far behind in salary, and go after nearly all of the same free agents as NYY. What about the Cubs? Talk about a team trying to buy a championship. What about Detroit? Sure, the Yankees are the original Evil Empire. But they have plenty of competition these days.
