Greek athlete 'fails drugs test'

Greece 200m sprinter Anastasios Gousis has been recalled from Beijing after testing positive for drugs, Greek state television has reported.

"We have been informed that there is a positive result involving one of our athletes," said Greek athletics chairman Vassilis Sevastis.

The drug is believed to be the banned steroid methyltrienolone.

The tests was conducted before Gousis left for his team's pre-Olympics training camp in Japan.
