Big raise for coach Urban Meyer

Florida football coach Urban Meyer is getting a $750,000 raise.

The school said Monday that Meyer signed a six-year contract worth $4 million annually, up from $3.25 million, after leading the Gators to two national championships in the last three seasons. The new deal also makes Meyer co-chairman of a university scholarship program.

Utah was the better team last year...and ASU was better when they gave Florida a patsie to play in their bowl game...can't recall the one in between those two...there was an undefeated who got screwed also.

You'll never hear me argue that the BCS is a better system than a playoff system would be, but it is what it is. Florida deserved to be in both those games and they deserved to win both of them. Complain all you want, you're not going to convince me otherwise and you're not going to change the results.
