Project Fair Play
Americans United for Separation of Church and State, an excellent organization for monitoring, challenging, and shining a light on efforts to erode Church/State separation, has an excellent website to augment their regular online home:

Project Fair Play

http://projectfairplay.org /

Here you'll find an easily accessible list of things "Houses of worship may" and "Houses of worship may not" do in the political realm. This is a helpful educational tool on a subject of some confusion for many here on DU.

They also have a list of ongoing developments:

(today's list)
Sep 30 Okla. Pastor Defiant About Politicking.
Sep 27 A Conservative Case Against Pulpit Politicking.
Oct 18 Barry Lynn Column Opposing Church Politicking In Iowa.
Oct 18 AU Asks IRS To Investigate Minn. Church For Political Intervention <...>.
Oct 1 AU Seeks Review Of Iowa Electioneering Scheme.

As well as a section on Getting the Facts:

"Debunk Religious Right claims about partisan intervention by churches. Includes an FAQ and other useful resources."

And a section on Legal Resources:

"What does federal law say about tax exemption and pulpit politicking? What have the courts said?"

As well as an option to Act + Respond, which offers ways to "take action by helping AU oppose pulpit politicking. You can educate religious leaders and learn how to file a complaint."

AU is a very valuable ally in the fight to maintain Church/State separation, one of the foundation stones of liberty. Take advantage of their resources to educate yourself on an issue of immense importance, always relevant, and increasingly so in our current times.

Again; the site is at: http://projectfairplay.org /

The Project Fair Play site is a focused look at the issue; AU's home site may be found at: http://www.au.org/about / where you can find out much more about this organization.
