The Conservatives Are Ruining American Idol..Spoiler Alert for the West Coast

Last week James Durbin a Rocker was voted off the show leaving Haily a girl with a heart to ROCK as well, Scotty and Lauren both teenagers and both country western singers. Well they voted Haily off tonight after 95 million votes so do the math and see the reality of conservative phone and internet ballot box stuffing.... Remember two years ago they did not allow Adam Lambert who was the best on the show to receive the top IDOL spot after it was revealed he was gay.... My wife and I have made a decision not to watch the show anymore this is three years in a row that the clean cut Christian Tea Party type will win the top prize.

Its truly not about talent its about image...... SICKENING...

2. Conservatives always lacked creativity
they can mimic and copy, but they have no real talent.

5. I do not share the national obsession with this show....
.....it seems contrived, artificial, poor talent, usually.....But don't listen to me. I hate almost all prime time viewing.

6. No matter how many ridicule it, AI was #1&2 last week and easily won on Weds. night.
Yep, they're laughing all the way to the bank.

7. I watched a couple of seasons.
After that Sparks girl won, I quit watching. I remember the pictures taken of her and her little brother a year earlier, with the Idol judges. Don't try to tell me that was coincidence. And her website, or Facebook page, (I can't remember which), was heavily anti-abortion. When she got to the finals, all that disappeared. If she had wanted a career, her rich father could have financed it without help from the tv show.

I wondered about Survivor, too. Matt, the super-Christian, came close to Rob in winning the "$100,000 for being the best player of the game. Was that genuine, or was it the conservatives stuffing the ballot box?

And look at what happened with Bristol Palin on the dancing show. I only watched a little bit of that show, but she had no business in the finals. She looked like a cow out there, stomping around.

10. Ms. Sparks is a "Christian" fundamentalist and Reagan idolizer.
Yes, the fundies do like to stuff the ballot box for their flavor of the week.

20. Remember that country-western singer--Sarah something--
who left partway through because of a divorce? She was even worse than Bristol--couldn't dance at all! Yet the fundies kept urging their people to vote for "our Christian Sarah," and RWers kept encocuraging their people to vote for her, so she stayed on way beyond her sell-by date!

22. Sarah Evans is her name.
She jumped on the "condemn the Dixie Chicks bandwagon" too. She is a regular at Hannity's hatefest, "freedom concert".

9. Talent cannot compete with the simplicitic image of Country .
Which is why Underwood (most unfortunately) won.

16. Yeah, this year you did.
Haley did a great job with Bennie and the Jets; a fantastic rendition of House of the Rising Sun; a haunting performance of I Who Have Nothing; a rocking version of What is And What Should Never Be; and a memorable performance of Rhiannon.

For some reason, her "b..b..b..b" part drove me nuts.

24. It was such a nice change
to hear something upbeat but it wasn't my favorite. I loved I Who Have Nothing, HOTRS, What is And What Should Never Be and Rhiannon.

Apparently Interscope (Iovine) has signed Haley.

17. Ruben was a gospel singer
as was Fantasia I think. Reuben is from Birmingham, AL. Fantasia is from Highpoint, North Carolina. Kris Allen was a good little country boy from Arkansas. One of Carrie Underwood's biggest hits was Jesus Take the Wheel and she's from Oklahoma. David Cook is from Texas. Taylor Hicks, Birmingham, Alabama. Jordin Sparks is from AZ and is a Pro-life advocate. Kelly Clarkson is from Fort Worth, TX. Both finalists this year are from the south, Lauren from GA and Scotty from Garner, NC.

Lee DeWyze is from Illinois.

14. Just about everyone in the Top 12 will go on to have some career...
Making way more money than I ever have. So, truly, I don't give a fuck who wins, goes home, or literally breaks a leg on stage.

15. I think Haley
Reinhart had a couple of the best performances EVER on Idol. The teeny boppers and Bible belt made sure their two teeny bopper Country singers got in the finale. How boring is that going to be?

When Led Zeppelin offers up their songs to a singer she's something special because they don't let many people have their songs.

She killed it last night but America prefers mediocrity.

19. Did you miss what the name of the show was?
"American Idol"

Idols are always about the image and not the talent.
