Has anyone here seen The Human Centipede?
Edited on Tue Oct-12-10 11:08 PM by ZombieHorde
Or Schramm?

Or Shogun Assassin?

Or Inside?

Or In My Skin?

Or Cannibal?

Or Splatter: Naked Blood?

Or Visions of Suffering?

Or Bubba's Chili Parlor?

Or Urotsukidoji?

I am ordering some movies off of Amazon, and these looked interesting. I have not seen any of them, but I believe The Human Centipede, Shogun Assassin, and Urotsukidoji are popular. Splatter: Naked Blood looks like a sure bet since it is compared to Meatball Machine and Tokyo Gore Police.

If you have seen any of these movies, will you please tell me about them?

3. Shogun Assassin is a gas!
I used to smoke a lot of pot, and this was a big favorite. I
used to call it "The Baby Carriage of Death" because
a baby narrates the plot from a baby carriage as his Shogun
Assassin dad takes him across feudal China, killing all manner
of enemies. Lots of cartoon gore. A great/silly martial arts
movie. Thanks for the reminder.

4. DO NOT GET HUMAN CENTIPEDE
it is probably the most disgusting, ugly, nastiest movie ever. The plot is a man abducts people and then performs surgery on them to connect them to each other. He puts intestines through the mouth and butt of people and connects them with other peoples intestines using the same system of surgery to construct a "human centipede"

16. LMAO...
That was a funny exchange and not because my first thought was "You make it sound really good".

Um I have not seen it, I'm not into the hard core gore stuff much anymore, I guess that comes with age. But my nephew is a huge horror fan and he said it was awesome so I would say go for it.

It's funny, I used to love the gore, The Thing, Videodrome, Hellraiser, but I watched one Saw movie and didn't like it at all. Same with Hostel. I guess they call it torture porn now. It was the next logical step in horror, so I have nothing against it, it's just not my cup of tea anymore. Seems like as you get older you go for more psychological stuff.

I will say that unlike my parents I am encouraging my 12 year olds obsession with gory movies. He watches all kinds of movies and then goes on YouTube to find out how they did the makeup effects. There are fake body parts and jars of blood all over the house. For his 12th birthday I got him a camera and a green screen with some professional lights. Now he's making shorts and posting them on youtube.. maybe he'll be the next Tom Savini..

10. I'm usually all into that kind of stuff, but....
In the case of Human Centipede, I'd advise checking some reviews and stuff before buying it. VERY narrow audience, that one. It's not a movie that can actually be enjoyed, y'know?

9. Schramm may make you cross your legs in pain.

Especially if you're a guy.

Pretty sure I remember In My Skin being good too. It's been a few years I guess. Some of these are kind of "body horror", which can be terrifying.

11. Is Schramm brutal? It is supposed to be by the guy who did the Necromantic movies.
But he also did Der Todes King, which did not live up to the hype.

15. Only seen "Inside" (excellent, horrifying, the ending stayed with me all night)
and "In My Skin" (a little slow, confusing ending, but effectively gross and icky).

Interested in seeing "Human Centipede," "Cannibal," and Schramm (unavailable on DVD, apparently :(), and "Visions of Suffering" is in my Netflix queue as we speak.

It's disturbing (especially the ending), but I've seen worse.

I also saw Martyrs (french movie). Now THAT was disturbing. I never want to see that movie ever again.
