Anyone else sick of Glee?
I work at a place with canned music, and they play the Glee stuff *all the time*. Four soundtrack albums and only one season.
I have a feeling it's going to burn out real quickly.

Why would anyone be sick of being happy?

Oh, wait...this is in the Entertainment forum. Never mind. You're talking about that TV show. Never watched it.

4. Yep, Jane Lynch is amazing, but the rest.. Ugh.
I watched it once and quickly realized it wasn't for me.

5. I have a playlist with it on, but at least I alternate depending on mood.
I liken it to watching Partridge Family, I Dream of Jeannie and Brady Bunch reruns. The music makes me happy, there is 'some' storyline, but it's just a brain break from all the crap happening out there in the real world. It has familarized me with some of the music that my daughter's age group likes, and likewise, my daughter and niece can sing along with me to some old classics :)

...And Schuster is easy on the eyes.

6. I am, and I've never even watched it.
I didn't think there could be anything with Jane Lynch in it that I would dislike, but I'm afraid this is it. Happy, perky people annoy me unless it is a day wherein I am feeling happy and perky.

:puke:

7. There is an up side to it...
There has been more acceptance to boys singing in the school choirs.
I saw evidence of this when I helped with a high school musical production.

It's harmless fun for those who like it.

13. If it gets boys into performing music, that's great!
Choirs in this country almost always have more women than men. I think it's because unlike Europe, we don't have a tradition of boys' choirs. (Some of the English cathedrals now have girls' choirs as well, but until about 25 years ago, they had only boys' choirs.)

The boys' choir tradition was unfair to girls, but it created generation after generation of men who had received a superb education in singing and music in general (they typically learn to play an instrument as well as sing).

I got sick and tired of the musical parts about halfway through the season.

But the show is cool.

12. I love it
Partly because it's something my 10th grade daughter and I actually agree on. Plus I like the singing.
