The arguments against the legitimacy of their election are the same as our arguments against the legitimacy of the U.S. election. Yet their election is getting overturned and ours is not. It's time we stopped being sheep.

3. and all that shopping!
When would we fit in all that shopping? </sarcasm>

Annoys the hell out of me that while Ukrainians are marching to force the correction of a fraudulant election, in America, we are busy SHOPPING! Conditions pretty much the same for elections in both nations, but Americans only took to the street for Macy's parade and the shopping it kicked off.

20. great line!
"...Ukrainians are out marching to force the correction of a fraudulent election. In America, we are busy shopping."

This is a great statement to arrouse the dems from their "moved on" slumber. We really need people to take to the streets. The Repugnacans want us to "move-on" into the holiday season. Shop your tears away. We can't let this happen!

4. In due time...give Bush enough rope to hang himself with first!!
Let him wallow first in failure for a few years. Let the value of the dollar continue to slide for awhile. Let the teething millions of unemployed and angry masses continue to swell. Let his failure become so complete and decisive that NOBODY would want another Republican at the helm for decades to come! And then..if they try to steal the next election after the failure of Bush..HIT THE STREETS! Civil disobedience! Massive walkouts. Public self-immolations. Strikes. Mayhem. Turmoil.

But give Bush enough rope to hang himself first! Let his failure become COMPLETE!! It gets harder and harder each day for even the most faithful Freeper to defend the man!

8. can we take to the streets and call for UN to help us?
I think if the US can intervine over there on the bases of what is happening here we should be able to ask the UN to help.

13. We take to the "streets" and the "Media" doesn't cover us....but hundreds
of us are thrown in prison and "tasered."

I don't know...I protested everything. Even protested Bush and Cheney and attented all local anti-Iraq Invasion protests (I didn't make the big DC and NYC ones) but contrary to what some folks here think...NC had a BIG ONE and we have vigils and "honk for peace" protests still...here.

I think when we protested it was easier. I think now that "The Emperor" feels he's assumed the title the "lock down" will be really heavy and we folks who protest the "crowning" will be faced with worse than we've ever seen. (I base this on being a 60's person, and remember how protests grew more violent due to "planted agitators" and just more awareness by those we were protesting that they needed to stop us.)

I think protests have to happen..and keep going..but everyone needs to realize that the potential for "ugliness" will be there more than in his "first installation."

I don't know that I can do a "Big One." And if there's no coverage...then no one knows who came...but to get coverage one "pays a price."

It's a hard call. I'm not sure.

18. In the "60's" it took Violence for them to Notice! I do NOT want to go
There AGAIN....but the media only loves, Sex, Violence and Titilation..

Without "Media Fairness Doctrine" we are in worse shape than we were then... And, I for one don't want to get involved with "violence."

Too many of us earn a living "under the radar for our beliefs" to want to be TARGETS...but, that doesn't mean as AMERICANS we GIVE UP our right to LAWFUL PROTEST.

24. The Revolution will not be televised ...the Revolution will be live
The dependency on the media to fulfill certain expectations before the will of the people can take root strikes a very exposed nerve in in me. I have absolutely NO expectations for the US media nor most MSM for that matter. They are pretty faces; nothing more; nothing less. We do not expect basketball stars to balance the budget yet we continue to expect the news media "celebs" to be thinkers and leaders. They are not leaders now, nor have they ever been. The Ukraine media did not lead the pack in the Ukraine, they took a ride on the peoples' revolution bandwagon once it had sufficient momentum to propel itself. Likewise, the US media will play no role in the ultimate outcome of the US election.

The Revolution will not be televised ...the Revolution will be live.

16. ANOTHER big problem
The Ukraine is small geographically and people can congregate in one place without removing themselves far, far from home.

Here, we are in states the size of the Ukraine. If we strike it must be on a local level, and that depends on getting some local coverage from "the media". These small local affiliates are scared to do something and some of them are actively "muzzled".

If there is a large march on Washington it will receive about the same "media" treatment as the million who marched for women's rights earlier this year, which was to lightly cover it and downplay its size.

The answer lies in local action. Distributing flyers and getting with our local representatives is a good idea. Our local representatives are on break right now and are likely working from their home offices. Contact them and demand meetings. Get with local groups you worked with to GOTV and work with them.

19. Agree...Go LOCAL......but do it in a way that fits your situation...
If you've got little kids to feed and a job to keep with a Repug Employer, you need to be much more subtle than those of us who can be more agressive. But, working together we can complement each other...

25. Jesse Jackson In Ohio?...We'll see -- doubt it though!
I won't be surprised at all if the Rev. Jackson 's appearance in Ohio won't get any US. media coverage whatsoever.

Which is saying a lot for the media lock-down on anything related to this election fraud...Too bad Kerry wouldn't make a joint appearance with Jackson it could be the start of something but I guess with Kerry it seems to be "timing"?!?!?!
