I've maintained that it's not over. The law's clear, as spelled out in the Constitution - the election is not over until the electors meet on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December.
Until then, it's all fluid and ongoing.
Bill Richardson is one savvy Democrat, and I'd say there's a very good reason for NM not having the count finished.
And don't dis New Mexico. We had a vacation home there for a long time. Until the tourists arrived. Then, outta there -------------------------->
But, seriously, Kerry is up to something, and I say the next month is going to make history. I really believe it, and have since he made that concession speech. There was a very telling line in that speech when a well-placed claque member called out something about "having your back, John," and Kerry replied, "Thank you, man, and - you watch - I've got yours." Or something like that.
Something very sly. "... you watch ..." I think that was Kerry telling the world he's not finished with this election. It just wouldn't be in his character to walk away. If they can assemble enough evidence of fraud in Ohio and Florida, not to mention New Mexico, evidence that's good enough to take into court and file suit to have the counts voided and done by hand, he can get an injunction or a restraining order against the electoral college meeting on December 13.
I say, and I truly believe, It's not over yet.
