Destruction of Voter Registrations by GOP affiliated group
What ever happened to the criminal investigation into "Vote America"?

From Oct 2004:
Officials in Oregon have launched a criminal investigation after receiving numerous complaints that a Republican-affiliated group was destroying registration forms filed by Democratic voters statewide,

1. That's how the Republicans plan to win in 2006...
They know that Democrats are working day and night to get new voters registered. IMO, if the Republicans can "mess with" enough registrations to get Republicans re-elected to Congress, there will NEVER be an investigation.....because it will still be a Republican majority in Congress! Again...they will be home free.:banghead:

Haven't they recently had a "missing registration" problem in California? (The SOS in California is a Republican, so he is probably in no hurry to get to the bottom of the matter.) :banghead:

2. Wondering about Oregon and Nevada
where there were criminal invetigations. I can't find anything about the story after 10/2004.

btw - Nathan Sproul is still around. In Arizona he's trying to get a gay marraige ban on the ballot.

3. It's happening all over the country with these new HAVA
required reg databases.

They're shaving the vote as we type. :(

4. Recommended earlier. Here's a kick.
:kick:

California is also having problems with voter registration drives, paid for by rethugs.
They only pay the reg. gatherers for rethug registrations -- so many of the gatherers were signing Dems up as Repubs.

I hope we hear that Sproul will be paying a huge price.

7. GOP Halts Paid Voter-Drive Program - March 8, 2006
The California Republican Party has suspended its fee-based voter registration program while prosecutors in San Bernardino and Orange counties investigate possible registration fraud connected to private firms hired by the party, GOP officials said.
