Outrage for our Andy

After reading the thread "The Stalking of Andy Stephenson" (located at <http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=203&topic_id=383284&mesg_id=383284>), I was filled with such outrage with what some people did in an attempt to deny Andy medical care and intimidate those who were caring for him.

It seems that Andy was a sort of 'hot button' for them, as if it was a way that they could orchestrate a murder without having to pull a trigger or drive a knife themselves. It boggles my mind that there could be a concerted effort by a group of people to hurt and endanger someone at their most vulnerable. It is a damnable abomination and I am sure they will be judged for it when their time comes.

I'm relatively new to DU, but I know of the good work and effort Andy did. And like the tell-tale heart in Edgar Allen Poe's book, I want his name to be a constant reminder to those whose aim was to kill an innocent man.

though I am only slightly aware of what actually happened. I too am outraged that people would go to such a low level in order blast an honest, humanitarian effort for a such a humble being as Andy.

11. 1. Delayed surgery 2 weeks. 2. Delayed post surgery medical treatment

3 weeks during which time Andy developed a cyst and fever as high as 105 degree. Once he finally received treatment he recovered momentarily only to succumb in the end. The tumor was removed successfully.

Wrongful death? Are there any lawyers out there?

"Well...I am tired all the time...awaiting word on when I am go for surgery..." those were some of Andy's own words from one PM we shared.



~ are there any lawyers ~ are there any writers & publicist who will compile and tell all of the truth about the harassment that prevented Andy's treatment in a timely fashion!

here or anywhere to protect any future legal proceeding. Please help me remind people of this important fact.

We know who these people are, rest assured of that.

7. That story was a terrible thing to read.

Hard not to think of counter-actions in the same vein. It's all so wrong. The lowest of us can inflict such damage on the whole, regardless of whatever the response is. They seem to feel nothing, to believe in nothing, to know nothing, to proudly not care that they are attempting to destroy the world. They need to somehow be excluded, but who knows how to do this? Education and self-awareness are the only peaceful solutions, but there's an organized movement in this country to destroy those things. A drive to insanity. A genetic code for societal destruction that's kicked in and roaring. Sickness as philosophy. Sickness as a choice.

10. This only shows how much the right wing hates life and democracy

and goodness....everything that Andy exuded.They do not have even one individual in their ranks who could hold a candle to Andy.I can't imagine a scenario in which DU would be so blindly spiteful to another human being, no matter what.
