Do law officials have double standard regarding dirty tricks against Dems
and if so, why???
*******************
In Wisconsin a tire slashing by young Dem activists was vigorously investigated and prosecuted; then publicized nationally;

while widespread systematic dirty tricks by Republican activists in over 20 states have not been prosecuted or publicized.

Is there a double standard for law in most states when it comes to illegal dirty tricks against Dems as opposed to Republicans??

Documentation of thousands of cases in 2004 election:

New Hampshire
Wolfeboro. Several residents with Kerry/Edwards signs in their yards found roofing nails in their driveways the morning of the election. Police started a criminal investigation. Story

6. Dirty Tricks in Pennsylvania
Meadville. Sproul and Associates of Chandler, Arizona, was hired by the Republican National Committee to canvass Pennsylvania and register new voters. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that some canvassers claim they were given instructions to avoid adding anyone to the voter rolls who might support the Democratic presidential nominee.

In Philadelphia, the Republican Party hired local people including down-and-out addicts as neighborhood poll watchers, paid the poll watchers to challenge their neighbors' voting, and sent visiting teams of burly enforcers in window-tinted vans in a mixed strategy of intimidation, pay and misinformation to suppress voting on November 2, according to a Brooklyn law student working with Election Protection. 11/14/2004 Voter intimidation PA York County. Officials received complaints of Hispanics being treated badly at the polls by poll workers
