1. I watched Feinstein and Lindsey Graham on a talk show this morning.
Thought they usually balanced the show with a Dem and a Repug!

:kick: Feinstein

Anybody but Feinstein when she's up for re-election.

Boxer for President, 2008.

15. She's amazing. And she's my Senator! And I'd vote for her in 2008!
I knew people here really liked her for some time now, and I remember many years ago when she first ran for the Senate, I worked with someone then who was on her campaign. Now I understand why he was so 'sold' on her.

She has the balls, and the articulation to get her point across. She would NOT back down after an election until ALL the votes were counted, I'm certain.

Did you notice, Wolf Blitzer gave her a lot of UNinterrupted time. They almost never do that for the Dem's. He must like her too, or he would never have done it.

She's got my vote!

3. Excellent video
She smacks down the Wolf and makes him look rather creepy for impugning the truth.

That's my Senator !

7. Except she kept saying
that Condi is competent. Condi isn't. Hell, she got a memo titled, Osama to Attack America. Her response was that the treat wasn't specific enough. I guess Osama should have taken her hand and given her the exact time, date and place.

22. She said she is intelligent, articulate and qualified.
I don't believe she said "competent".

26. I will accept qualified,
instead of competent, but still it begs the question: qualified doing what?

27. Well, you know, she has the "background" required for the job.
Lots of people are "qualified" for a job but incompetent at performing it, right?

12. I feel for ya', greenmutha...
I'm not much better off. I have Mary Landrieu (a good Democratic senator who can be effective when passion strikes her, which hasn't been very often) & David (BFEE Bootlicker) Vitter.

did anything good ever come of it?

17. I don't really know, Ojai.
In regard to her collaboration with Frist, that's just another example of how disappointing she has been lately. My feeling is that she may be feeling more pressure to appease the right-wing constituents (we're a red state), now that her fellow LA senator is Republican David Vitter (a major, major WH bootlicker).

Whether Landrieu will remain steadfast in her Democratic principles or feel the need to prove herself to the right-wing constituency is the question. I'll be watching. As a matter of fact, I'm anxious to see if she'll join with Boxer on Tuesday when the debate about Rice's confirmation continues in the Senate.

computer. I expect to use DVD as a media to educate and inspire people--and what better way than seeing directly what people are saying?

25. Thanks for posting this link.
Sorry I missed watching it yesterday. She is an amazing woman. I, too, would support her in '08, but I'm afraid she wouldn't be able to win as many see her as too liberal. Maybe starting as a VP candidate would be better for her.
