4. And when we get IRV or another more sane voting system
a lot of us will be able to vote for Green Party candidates without worrying that it means electing a regressive candidate.

After Kerry gets in, a push for electoral reform should be near the top on the progressive agenda, I think. (And if the DNC drags their heels, they're going to hear from us!)

5. No, Ted, just our thanks
Once we get things back on track, we progressive-liberals will see to it that Green Party goals are advocated.

We love the environment, too, and dislike the way corporations have corrupted America.

Together, we can move forward.

Oh, and one suggestion? The Greens really ought to use their clout, throw their support behind Dem Presidential candidates -- in exchange for tangible rewards such as cabinet posts. Dept of the Interior, EPA, that sort of thing.

Just my opinion. Again, thanks.

31. Green Leader for Kerry
I am the Green Party chair for my Colorado county. I am also the Colorado representative to the national Green Party committee.

I just spent all day, up until now, walking and knocking on doors to get out the vote for the next President of the United States: John Kerry!

Maybe someday we'll have a two party system of Greens and Democrats?!

The neo-cons are killing the GOP.

P.S. I have always wanted the U.S. to have a strong Green Party. It's the only way this lifelong Dem (voting Dem since 1968) would leave the Democratic Party.

27. If the GOP loses they will have to change some
So whatch out, them changes could be even more diabolical either way regardless.

Most of them that call the shots seem heartless if you haven't noticed :scared:

11. Cheer up: Kerry's the next best thing to a Green that there is.
His environmental record is something that Nader can't even assail (which is probably why he didn't).

Though I had intended to change my affiliation to 'independent' this year. Regardless, we need to send the neocons packing.

28. Registered Constitutionalist
Voted Kerry to protect the document that has so many good ideas like freedom from search and sea sure, quick and fair trial, and right to free speech. The right to question our government is another big thing on my list and any administration that just marks people as traitors for disagreeing with it will never garner a vote from me.

At this point though, I'm not looking at voting republican for a number of years.

about our country. Greens have voted overwhelmingly for Kerry despite their party loyalties.

Salud!
