6. and let's not forget the economy

The rest of the world could take us down without firing a shot. Just dump the dollar, transition to buying oil with euros, etc.

America is likely to learn that there are lots of ways to lose your security, and only some of them have to do with bombs.

The IMF could hit our international credit rating. Lord, there's so many ways this could happen.

4. Attack on Iran
Supreme Court & federal courts loaded with neo-cons!
All employee benefits cut to nada!
All employee rights and our civil rights impaired, if not diminished entirely.

5. PA II - tax cuts made perm
then they get to work on the REAL issues

eliminate all barriers to media conglomerates.

regulate internet free speech and porn.

a new version of copyright infringement act.

and you can forget the "detainees" in Gitmo...

more terror - possibly targeted at anyone who dares to try
to stop any of this.

and a Roe V. Wade revisit with a new supreme court.

School prayer....

I'm sure that there are other things...

* $660 Million for an international army to be initially stood up in Africa (initiative called the "Global Peace Operations Init.") but will be able to deploy globally.

* Mandatory state-sponsored Mental Health screening via the "New Freedom Initiative" (first state to start working with this is Illinois - they will be sceeening Pregnant women and children in schools)

* We've already been signed back into UNESCO by this admin. unfortunately so we're party to that farce again

* Implementation of the Free Trade Area of the America's (FTAA) slated to be miplemented in Jan 2005 - eventually 'regionally integrates' the govt's of 30+ nations in the western hemispere and will empower the ILO to oversee labor standards in the US.

* last June this admin also stopped fighting to have our military personnel remain exempt from the emerging int'l Criminal Court - they decided that it wasn't something they wanted to keep being 'divisive' over I suppose - so that's something else on the horizon from what I can tell - US soldiers eventaully being subjected to the will of the ICC.

there's a LOT coming down IMO that conservatives (and really - anyone else whos fiscally concerned about the US and also worried about the erosion of our individual freedoms) should have been HAMMERING President Bush on but were not....as an independant conservative I found this pretty darn frustrating to say the least.....

9. Complete erosion of consumers rights
and suspension of our right to sue corporations -- with a GOP controlled congress and courts -- bringing any sort of lawsuit against a corporation greed or negligence will become nearly impossible.

The goal is for the corporation to suppress the rights of the individual.

10. Right Wing Courts
With only 44 dems in the senate, we can expect the repubs to push through a bunch of right wing judges. I cannt fathom the thought that assclown will appoint 3-4 SCOTUS judges. After he vacates the WH in 4 years, his stench will remain with us for 20+ years. How sad.

11. They just implored Congress to raise the debt ceiling...
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 02:13 PM by nyhuskyfan
Funny, they didn't ask that before November 3. Otherwise, people might ask why the debt is so damn high.

16. Overview...maybe will take a little while...
...while the slow-motion tragedy plays out:

***America now entering DEATH SPIRAL*** = more 'puke control & resultant catastrophes (Iraq, economy, jobs, civil liberties)--> consolidate even more power --> never-ending downward spiral until this nation implodes

17. And of course the public education system will be trashed
Edited on Thu Nov-04-04 10:18 PM by not fooled
...as "poison pill" "leave no child behind" kicks in. 'pukes hate public education because it is a means of social elevation and a lot of teachers are politically enlightened.

'pukes want to continue the dumbing down of Amerika so as to create even more morons who don't know any better than to vote against their self-interest.

So, look for wholesale de-funding of public education.
