Bob Carr Quits.
"New South Wales Premier Bob Carr has announced his resignation from
politics, effective from next Wednesday."

http://www.abc.net.au/news/

Because New South Wales is up shit creek, and he knows he'd probably
be tossed out at the next election.

But - God help us - who are we going to get in his place? Michael
Costa? I can't see any talent at all in the Labor benches.

The only person with real answers for this state is the Greens'
Lee Rhiannon. But nobody's listening to her.

1. So....
I wonder what the chances are of Bob Carr moving into federal politics?

2. Quite high, I suspect.
Which really floors me, because I'm damned if I can think of anything
he's actually done for NSW.

Just goes to show I guess that if you can fool some of the people
all of the time ....
