Amy Winehouse 'may have TB'
By Rupert Neate
20/06/2008
Amy Winehouse is said to be coughing up blood, a classic sign that she is suffering from tuberculosis, experts say.

A LOT more treatable these days than that other virulent disease called TB, Tony Blair.....

1. Am I the only one who's bored to tears with Amy Winehouse stories.....

...all over the tabloids?

Must be especially annoying for people who work in London and have to go home on trains littered with free papers full of Amy Winehouse stories and little else.

2. And annoying for all those thrown out of North London clubs/bars
each time they are raided because Amy's been caught snorting in the Ladies once again.....

3. It won't just be one person doing lines in North London
It's not like it's just 2 over-rated musicians taking all the drugs in London, which is kinda the impression you get from reading the free London papers.

4. Since March this year Amy's managed to get five Camden Lock
bars/clubs raided after a tip off about her alleged snorting activities. On one occasion I was in one of these when everybody got frisked, chucked out, drinks and meals unfinished. Another time one of my kids got the treatment.

7. My impression is that it's everyone - mostly female -
over the age of 17 in NW1-6. Leads to rather appalling visions of what the loos look like and makes me very glad that I'm past the age for clubbing!

5. I think Amy's great...
but you have to realise she is to the British media what Britany is to their US equivalents. i.e a grossly overused technique to distract the little people when the shit is hitting the fan in the "real world".

And since the shit is hitting the fan big time... we get to hear every sordid detail of poor Amy's woes.

6. No conspiracy, just lazy journalism really.
