I ask because on Wednesday's Channel 4 News, Jon Snow said the Sunday Times published large parts of the Bush-Blair "bomb Al Jazeera' memo on that day. I can't find anything on the website, but then they might well have removed it after the threat of the Official Secrets Act.

There's a link to the C4 piece in General Discussion here. The mention of the Sunday Times is about 9 minutes into it.

1. Library
Does your local library not archive the Sunday papers? I'm passing mine later today so I'll have a look.

2. It'll be in my recycling bin,
but I'll have a look through it for you later. I was away last week and didn't actually look at the Sunday papers when I got home, so they went straight in for recycling more or less intact.

3. Probably not much help, but I did scan the ST website last sunday, and
didn't see any mention of them printing the memo (I tend to watch out for things like that.. ;-)

There was a story about the prosecution of the MP's assistant who dumped it into his boss's pidgeon hole (and got turned in to the police by his boss for the trouble) but as of last Sunday, the "let's bomb Al-Jazeera" story wasn't out (it was first referred to in the Mirror on Tuesday, as far as I'm aware).

However, there's been some confusion between a memo printed by the Times in May, from about the same period in 2004, and the Bush-Blair convo transcript, so perhaps C4 have fallen prey to that confusion. (I haven't watched the video link you pointed to).

Cryptome have the May memo and the Times' 20th Nov story, at:

HTH :-)
