I guess congrats are in order - I'm not so happy about my Pens, although Crosby did get an assist. Not bad for a kid. I really hope they can at least make it a season.

More than anything, I'm loving that there's hockey again - so many games last night - incredible. Diggin' the new rules changes too. :hi:

I will say, however, that the final moments were some of the most exciting hockey I've seen in years. I like this idea of shoot-outs...it's like having to earn your keep all year round vs just the playoffs! lol ;-)

which is what they will have to do while Sundin, and O'Neill, are out. But I know what you mean about entertaining - I've seen a ton of great hockey already this season. And this is just the beginning...

7. Did ya catch the Leafs-Habs game on Saturday?

Despite my obvious displeasure at the result, it was still a really fun game to watch. (I think Michael Ryder would look very sharp in Blue and White.)

9. Had a party and everything, Telly...

I had a party to celebrate the first HNIC in 18 months! Had both Leafs and Habs fans there. As U.S. citizens, we reserve the right to root for both Montreal and Toronto, ha!!! (I rooted for the Leafs against Philly last night). Anyway, it was an extremely entertaining game Saturday. And I think a lot of teams will be saying that about Ryder in the months and years to come. He's a helluva player and a great kid. I also think Dandenault will prove to be a super smart move by Gainey.
