Ont. probes dropped charges in alleged Ponzi scheme

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/toronto/story/2010/11/16/ontario-ponzi.html

This explains precisely what is wrong with Canada and our plastic politicians. If one of us went outside and stole $10 from a hot dog vendor you would spend the night in a prison. You steal some people's lifetime savings and they drop the charges!!??

Why don't they take all of the money they pay CSIS and half they pay the Mounties and give this money to the courts so we can ensure criminals are tried, convicted and put in one of these fancy shiny new prisons that the Feds are going to pay $10 Billion to build. While they are at it, they might look at cutting back some of the break and lunch time abuses these courts regularly engage in.

In other news, I am watching the headline stories on Global News: The Prince is getting engaged and The Beatles have gone digital!
