Waukesha's own -- Injured gymnast Paul Hamm not going to Beijing

Paul Hamm won’t be going to the Beijing Olympics, after all.

The reigning Olympic gold medalist announced Monday that he is withdrawing from the U.S. team because he is not sufficiently healthy enough to compete. Besides his broken right hand, he strained his left rotator cuff in his accelerated recovery effort.

Too bad he didn't decide to do it because he thinks we should be boycotting China. But I guess given the way our govt has behaved lately we can't really criticize China

2. That's too bad.
I would have been pulling for him, plus put behind the controversy from four years ago.
