Feingold has proven track record on health care
Editor: Health care is the 800 pound gorilla in the 2004 election. Almost every public interest survey shows that Americans are worried about both cost and availability of health care in the future.
Among the candidates for the U.S. Senate, only Senator Russ Feingold has a position and a track record on health care. During his term, Feingold has: • Introduced Medical Fairness Act in 2003 to assure Wisconsin residents receive their fair share of Medicare Benefits.
• Introduced the bipartisan Home Health Nurse and Patient Act of 2001.
• Cosponsored the bipartisan Pharmaceutical Market Access and Drug Safety Act of 2004, which would allow for the safe reimportation of prescription drugs from Canada.
Feingold's attention to this problem tells me that he is listening to his constituents and working hard to serve them. He deserves re-election.
