anyone else get one of these?

i posted this in the general forum along with something else, but didn't get a bite....

we kept getting calls from this number, showing up 304-000-0000. so i got curious and wondered who in the hell has a number like that, and decided to pick it up. it was wv citizens against lawsuit abuse (sounds good, right? yes..... "sounds"), and she immediately went into her pitch. i could tell what she was doing right away, and was offended at the thought that i was going to play along. so in the middle of her scripted speech, i just said, "this is push polling."

after that, she went right into the "well thank you for your time, and if you should have any questions, blah blah" but before she could finish, i said "gotcha" and hung up the phone. but it was funny, because to me, not even responding after i called 'em on exactly what they were doing (push polling), let me know they knew exactly what they were doing, and were only going to waste their time on the gullible, or the polite, of which i am neither when being taken as a fool


anyone else get one of these?

3. In 2000, I went to the mail box one day and came back pissed!

Shelly Capito had sent a flier out that was totally covered with the most horrid shit I'd ever seen in my mail! It was a paper filled with pictures of late term aborted babies and I've never been more disgusted in my life! If one of my grandkids had gotten my mail for me that morning as they often do, I would have taken the hag to court over it!

As it was, I was the one who got that trash out of there and I did call up her office and throw a fit about it! I gave them a what do I tell my kids speech that I doubt they will EVER forget! It shook the lady up when I threatened to sue them and she didn't know how to defend Shelly! While I was reaming her I told her about Shellie's convict Daddy too! I wish to this day I could have seen her face!

how many kids did see that. I would have been furious, too. So much for "family values".
