That's pretty crazy. I was about 12 when Gilmore was elected governor, and even then the whole "no car tax" thing seemed not quite right to me...of course, that could've been because both of my parents are fairly liberal/progressive (and reasonably intelligent). ;-) Still, I'll be watching this with interest (and probably great amusement).
