1. OMG, this is just so unbelievable . . .

As if we didn't have more pressing problems to address in this state (like, say, the budget impasse, repairing the roads, funding our schools and keeping businesses in Virginia).

My best friend of 38 years is gay. She and her partner live in Fairfax County, and are in a committed relationship. We've known each other since we were children. We'd take a bullet for each other, if it came to that. If being friends with her and her partner is a crime in this state, then haul me off to jail now.

The only way for us to bring some sanity back into state government is to get out and campaign for Democrats who will bring the Virginia Legislature back under Dem control. This is just TOO much.

I'll certainly do whatever is humanly possible in order to bring that about.
