Texas is definitely turning purple. In the money primary Texas donated as follows:

Rudy J = $6.3 mil
Hillary C = $4.6 mil
Mitt R = $2.7 mil
Barack O = $2.7 mil
John E = $2.5 mil
John Mc = $2.4 mil

Considering that Rudy isn't running anymore HRC is leading by 2:1 and BO is tied with the R front runner (in donations) and ahead of the R delegate leader.

It could be a very interesting year . . .

Texas is huge. Has a large number of delegates to deliver. Expect to see the candidates in Texas for sure.

One place they'll be is in Houston on Feb. 28th at the Presidential Energy Summit sponsored by big energy. Although the Sierra Club is also a sponsor and Carl Pope from the Sierra Club will speak. The charge is $450 for members and $750 for non-members.

Can't afford that - too bad. This summit is not for the average American.

The debate will be televised and Tim Russert will serve as moderator.
